My approach

Your wellbeing, at the heart of every treatment.

My journey into complementary healthcare began with a simple belief: small, thoughtful care can make a real difference to how you feel. Seeing the positive impact of acupuncture and reflexology on friends and family inspired me to train professionally and offer the same support to others.

Since qualifying in acupuncture and reflexology, I’ve continued further training in women’s health, menopause, fertility, and pregnancy support. This allows me to take a personalised, holistic approach to each session — tailoring treatments to how you’re feeling today, in a calm and professional environment.

Answers to your questions

  • What happens during my first appointment?

Your first session includes a short consultation to understand your health history, any current concerns and what you’d like support with. This helps me tailor the treatment to you. You’ll have plenty of time to ask questions before we begin.

  • Is acupuncure safe?

Yes. When carried out by a trained practitioner, acupuncture is considered a safe treatment. I only use single-use, sterile needles and follow strict hygiene and professional standards.

  • Does acupuncture hurt?

Most people feel little to no discomfort. The needles are very fine, and any sensation is usually mild and short-lived. You can let me know at any time if something feels uncomfortable.

  • Is acupuncture safe during pregnancy?

Yes, reflexology is generally considered safe when performed by a trained practitioner. I always adapt treatments depending on the stage of pregnancy and how you’re feeling on the day. If you have concerns, please speak with your midwife or healthcare provider.

  • Can acupuncture help with menopause, fertility or pregnancy symptoms?

Many people find these treatments supportive during hormonal changes, fertility journeys and pregnancy. While individual experiences vary, sessions are focused on relaxation, balance and overall wellbeing. Treatments are not a substitute for medical care.

  • How should I prepare for my appointment?

Please wear comfortable clothing and eat something light beforehand. If you are taking medication or have any health conditions, let me know during your consultation.

  • What conditions do you work with?

I offer treatments for general wellbeing, stress, tension, hormonal balance, sleep issues and more. I do not diagnose or replace medical treatment. If you have a health concern, please consult your GP as well.

  • Is there anyone who shouldn’t have acupuncture or reflexology?

Most people can safely receive treatment, but certain health conditions may require adaptations. Please let me know about any medical conditions, medications or recent procedures so I can ensure your treatment is appropriate.

  • What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give at least 24 hours’ notice. Late cancellations or missed appointments may be subject to a fee, as the time has been reserved for you.
